SMU Teaching Bank

SMU tBank consists of various banking channels and the three main channels are “Retail Internet Banking (RIB)”, “Corporate Internet Banking (CIB)” and “Retail Mobile Banking (RMBW)”. The three applications mentioned above were leveraging on the old architecture as seen from the figure below. Professor Alan, the project head of tBank, wanted all applications to adopt the new architecture, and the three new applications are called “RIB2”, “CIB2” and “RMBW2”. The main purpose of adopting the new architecture is to ease maintenance and reduce file size during deployment which in turn reduce the risk of the server crashing. The Interns, which were Evelyn and Kelvan, were tasked to develop both RMBW2 and CIB2 applications using JavaScript Vue Framework.
